Ballpark – Better Invoice Communication = Faster Payments

ss-ballpark

Ballpark offers a collaborative way to send estimates and invoices to clients. While there are a ton of online invoicing apps already out there, Ballpark is slightly different in that it targets users who want communication over standard invoice creation. For instance, Ballpark makes it possible to talk with your team and clients all in one place rather than creating and sending an invoice without any feedback or group coordination.

Ballpark’s dashboard is definitely the selling point. It’s clean and functional without being messy or overdone. In addition, users will find that it comes with a ton of powerful features—such as the ability to see exactly when that late-paying client last viewed the invoice you sent them.

Most clients will love Ballpark as well—they can leave comments as they wish and can even pay instantly through PayPal. The only downside is that the $12 a month Freelancer plan doesn’t come with the PayPal integration. The next plan up is only $24, so it might be worth it to spring for the better plan. Either way, there’s a free 30 day trial so there’s no harm done in testing out the waters before making any big commitments.

Practical Uses:

  • Spend more time on new client projects rather than creating client invoices
  • Organize your company’s invoicing in a central location in minutes versus months
  • Create more powerful relationships with your clients by encouraging feedback and communication through BallPark

Insider Tips:

  • Check your invoices for late-paying clients
  • Send estimates to your team for review/approval prior to notifying the clients
  • Encourage your sales team to write up any relevant comments within client invoices or estimates

What we liked:

  • Great collaboration tool beyond simple invoicing
  • The application is well-designed and easy-to-use
  • 30-day trial on all new signups

What we didn’t like:

  • Freelancer plan doesn’t come with PayPal integration

It’s just that the first partners that Google got are Sprint and Citibank: and only Sprint carries the 4G version, but doesn’t mean it’s the only compatible phone today. 147
