Carbuzz – Personalized Car Finder

Carbuzz is a fun application that takes the guesswork out of choosing which type of new car to buy. Rather than flipping through auto magazines and clicking through hundreds of car photos online, just enter a few keywords that describe what you’re looking for in a vehicle and Carbuzz will immediately present you with a list of recommendations based on those specifications.

The way you use Carbuzz will depend on how far along you already are in the new car hunt. If you’re a newbie who has no idea what you’re looking for, head straight to the “Car Chooser” section to begin. Set parameters based on budget, features, seating, space, acceleration, and running cost to narrow down your search. By the time you’ve finished inputting your needs and wants, your list should have narrowed down to only a handful of vehicles. Look at the photos and click on any car that looks interesting. Carbuzz will present you with a list of reviews by people who currently own the vehicle you’re looking at, professional opinions from outside sources, dozens of photos and videos, and driving stats – all in an effort to help make your car-buying decision a little easier.

In addition to all the helpful search tools, Carbuzz also offers a list of cars that users should “Also consider” next to each main vehicle page. When you find a car that looks like a keeper, add it to your virtual garage to save and refer back to later. Show your spouse or significant other the cars you’re liking most by clicking the “Email” tab, or print out the stats for a given vehicle to bring along and reference on any real-world car-buying expeditions you take in the future.
