When a potential client asks for a quote on a project, he doesn’t want it next week or next month. He wants it right now. Pricetag is a web-based tool that small business owners can use to create custom quotes in very little time.
Select a Pricetag plan based on the number of quotes you anticipate sending out each month, and then give Pricetag some basic information about your company to begin. Upload a company logo, enter the names of any important colleagues, and type in the rates you currently charge clients. Whether you enter rates by the hour or by annual salary is unimportant, since Pricetag will handle any necessary conversions either way. If you charge clients less to work with a junior designer than a senior designer, then you’ll want to list those employees’ hourly rates separately, as well. Once your company’s information has been uploaded, you can create your first quote. Enter some basic information about the project – including the name, any tasks that are required, and which employees will be working on it – and Pricetag will create a custom quote immediately.
When your custom quote is ready to go, you can print it, email it, or export it as a text file, PDF, or embedded HTML. Or, if you’re not quite happy with the final outcome, you can go back to your Pricetag dashboard to edit your quote some more before sending it off to your client for review.
