DocTrackr is a web-based tool that businesses and individuals can use to securely send private documents to clients. Whereas files that are sent as email attachments can be downloaded and shared with anyone, files sent through docTrackr remain completely private. Recipients can only view the files they’ve been sent under the parameters that the sender has set up, eliminating uncontrolled sharing once and for all.
Make sure your company’s price lists, revenue reports, presentations, and other important files are protected by uploading those files to docTrackr rather than sending them as unsecured email attachments. Once you upload a file to docTrackr, you’ll be asked to select the recipients and set privileges for those recipients. Place restrictions on who can access, read, edit, print, or share the documents you’re sending, knowing that you can update these settings to give a recipient more or less freedom even after a document has been sent.
Document recipients — who are typically clients, but could also be vendors or contractors — can open the files you’ve sent with no software required. DocTrackr tracks every time your files have been opened and keeps tabs on exactly what your clients are doing with those files. You’ll know who has read the documents you sent, how long each person spent reading those files, whether the files were shared or printed. For people who are concerned about what their clients are doing with their most sensitive documents, docTrackr is a fantastic security solution.
