Vizify – Visualize Your Identity

Social networking profiles rarely tell the whole story. Viewing a person’s LinkedIn profile can make you think he’s all about business, while a quick look at his Facebook page makes it seem like he’s all about the nightlife. Vizify is a tool that people can use to create graphical bios — also known as “visualizations” — that show who they really are.

Create your own Vizify page by entering your email address and sharing the app with your friends on Twitter or Facebook. Vizify will automatically gather data from your connected accounts on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Foursquare (among other networking apps) and use it to populate your visualization, eliminating the need for you to write a cohesive bio when putting together your Vizify page. You can also populate your Vizify page with information from a personal website, or choose the specific quotes and information you want to appear front and center on your own. Select the color scheme, the page arrangement, and the design you want from Vizify’s templates, then customize the look of your page by dragging and dropping various elements into a completely new order.

Although there is no “typical” Vizify page, there are some elements that pop up more than others. For example, Vizify pages frequently include interactive lists of the words that users post most often on their Twitter feeds. When people connect the app to their LinkedIn accounts, they can create interactive career timelines. These individual data points tell a much more accurate story about who a person really is than any singular social networking profile.

• People can’t connect Facebook business pages to their Vizify accounts
