An engaged workforce is a productive workforce. Unfortunately, with only 13% of employees worldwide reporting that they’re “actively engaged into their work,” human resources professionals are having to search for ways to take action and improve engagement at their organizations. Sense is a tool that helps with this task.
A web-based application created by BlackbookHR, Sense provides you with the tools necessary to track and improve engagement in a corporate setting. After taking Sense’s engagement survey, and sending the survey out to employees, view your personal “employee engagement dashboard.” Here, you’ll find useful graphics that drill into individual employee engagement scores. Sense also provides you with an “administrator engagement dashboard,” where you can see how your workforce as a whole ranks. Finally, visit the “pulse dashboard” to create weekly emails for your employees. These emails should serve as the place where you can communicate directly with your team and solicit candid feedback about which types of corporate changes would make for a better work environment.
One of the particularly interesting features in Sense is the “relationship network analysis.” Using this tool, HR professionals can pinpoint the most influential people within their organizations based on a number of metrics. These are the employees they should be reaching out to in an effort to disseminate information and get real insight into what others on their teams are actually thinking.
