Hundreds of digital platforms exist with the sole purpose of providing people with an easier way to send and receive files online. However, Infinit differentiates itself from the pack based on sheer speed and ease-of-use. The web-based file-sharing tool provides its users with a way to share any file with any person located anywhere in the world.
Whether you’re sending videos, images, mockups, or tracks, the process remains the same when you’re using Infinit’s cloud-based service. Drag-and-drop your file into place, then select the contact to send it to. You can also enter the email address of the person (or people) you’re sharing files with manually. When you send to a “favorite” contact, typically a colleague or team member, the process is even faster. Infinit will immediately provide you with a link that can be shared via email, Facebook, Twitter, or virtually anywhere else on the web. You’ll also have a dedicated inft.ly URL, where the friends you select can access your file at any time. Recipients are able to download the files you’ve sent with a single click, and those files are saved straight to their “Downloads” folders.
Infinit says that 100MB of photos can be sent in 5 minutes and 29 seconds through its service, compared to 12 minutes and 8 seconds through Google Drive and 14 minutes and 14 seconds through Dropbox. Because Infinit is a peer-to-peer service, user files are never run across the company’s servers. Encryption options are also available for users who are concerned about privacy.
