CoTweet – Helping Companies Use Twitter

ss-cotweet

CoTweet is becoming one of the more popular ways companies are engaging their customers through Twitter. We like it because it streamlines the entire process of using Twitter, making it extremely easy for colleagues to interact with one another as well as allowing companies to reach a wider audience than ever before.

CoTweet allows you to manage up to six different Twitter accounts through one CoTweet login. It also allows you to mark yourself as either on or off duty. If you’re on duty, for example, you’ll receive email notification when tweets are sent to your account.

The entire CoTweet app is extremely organized and easy to manage. The worst thing in the wolrd is when a service like this ends up being more headache than it’s worth, but this certainly isn’t the case with CoTweet. In fact, they offer a variety of ways to make sure you’re staying on the ball—including the ability to schedule your tweets ahead of time. Oh yeah, and you can also monitor your keywords and trends as well as view the history of your account’s tweets.

Practical Uses:

  • Promote your online business with the help of your entire staff instead of just one person
  • Select specific colleagues to read & respond to your company’s tweets
  • Launch a new product, service, or marketing campaign and track user feedback in real-time via Twitter

Insider Tips:

  • Make notes on Twitter user profiles so customers can be easily tracked
  • Reach a wider audience by taking advantage of multi-account posting
  • Click on a username to view a user’s most recent tweets

What we liked:

  • The dashboard is convenient and easy to use
  • Powerful scheduling and collaboration features not found on many other Twitter management applications
  • Ability to archive and store messages

What we didn’t like

  • Currently only supports the bit.ly link shorteners
  • At the moment, the service is entirely free and there is no mention of future pricing plans which might make some companies learly of fully committing to CoTweet
