SocialFolders – Sync Your Social Life

Popular social networking sites and photo sharing hubs all invite their users to upload images online. But when people post some images on networking platforms like Twitter and Facebook, and others images on photo sharing sites like Flickr, Picasa, and Instagram, they can sometimes forget where their favorite files are stored. SocialFolders is a tool that pulls those files together and helps people create a single, centralized hub for all the content they post online.

Before you can start syncing all your social data, you’ll need to download SocialFolders onto your PC or Mac. Follow the installation instructions provided by SocialFolders, and then sign up for an account by entering your name, email address, and choosing a password. Once you see the blue SocialFolders icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen, you’ll know the app has been set up. In order to start syncing all of your content, you’ll have to connect each of the social networking services you use to SocialFolders. Each service you configure with the application will get its own folder, where all associated content will be stored.

SocialFolders works in the background each night, silently backing up all the content people post online in a centralized place that’s accessible at any time. Users can also set up SocialFolders to automatically store the images and files uploaded by their friends and family members on popular networking platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, and Twitter.

Practical Uses:

  • Save all your images in one centralized place
  • Create a backup of the content you post on Facebook
  • Store the photos your siblings post on their social networking accounts
  • Upload photos to Flickr without actually visiting the website
