Designers who share mockups with clients by sending large files through email are doing it all wrong. At least according to the creators of QwikVu, a web-based tool that people can use to share web design mockups quickly, efficiently, and at 100% scale.
QwikVu is free to use for people who only need two galleries per year. For designers who need a little more room than that, the web-app costs $39 per year. For that price, you can create an unlimited number of mockup galleries, which clients can browse when they want to have a look at some of your past work. To create a new gallery, type in the client’s name, email address, choose a title for the project, and select a custom URL. QwikVu will let you choose your own background color and mockup alignment. Once that’s complete, you can upload all the design files you’ve got for a particular project, and organize your images by dragging and dropping them into whichever order you choose.
When you’re finished organizing your project images, you can send the completed gallery to your client through the QwikVu app. Your client will receive a link to the design gallery you created, and he or she can click through the various files and add typed notes as a way to provide feedback about what does and doesn’t work in the mockups you created.
