DeskAway – Put Your Projects on Cruise Control

There are a fair number of project management apps available online, but the problem with some of them comes down to value. One of the more popular project management applications is BaseCamp and although it offers a range of monthly plans, the service can be too costly for those on tight budgets. DeskAway, on the other hand, offers free project management for small projects with a limited number of users.

However, price isn’t the only feature that makes DeskAway a good application. In short, you don’t need to sacrifice quality for price. DeskAway is a full-featured project management app that’s ideally suited for large projects and business accounts. DeskAway allows you to set milestones, create tasks, list problems, upload relevant documents, deevelop a discussion forum, create a blog to be viewed by participants, set email reminders, and plenty other useful features.

Basically, DeskAway has everything you need in terms of project management. Other competing apps need to be supplemented with yet another app, but this is not the case with DeskAway. Additionally, it’s easy to use and set up – you should have the hang of it and suiting your needs within an hour. This is important, as services such as DeskAway are supposed to make your life easier, not more difficult. Put together, it’s one of the better project management applications we’ve seen to date.

  • Establish a project manager-manager or lead person for the site. Project management apps can get disorganized quickly if users are not purging outdated information or organizing their thoughts
  • Set permission control so information is viewable to some, but not others
  • If you’re struggling with BaseCamp, or think it’s too expensive, you can import your BaseCamp data into DeskAway

  2. We’ve been using DeskAway at WisdomTitles.com now and are completely in love with it! Way better than BaseCamp, Huddle, and all the other PM apps out there, in my opinion.

  4. I’ve tested the DeskAway and I can said it’s a very useful application if you need to manage a lot of projects in the same time.

    It is very easy to implement and user friendly. I have not a lot of experience but the DeskAway application is really easy to use.
