YourAM – Smarter Scheduling

Not every business has the financial resources to hire a full-time scheduler or pay for expensive scheduling software. Thankfully, YourAM gives small businesses and freelancers a way to handle all of their scheduling needs, free of charge. The cloud-based scheduling system lets multiple users schedule appointments and events for a business in real time, and even sends out text message alerts or email notifications to remind colleagues and clients in advance about any scheduled meetings.

Because YourAM offers free accounts, there aren’t any costs to join and start managing your own business schedule online. Just enter your business name and start adding individual accounts for all the members of your staff. When a client calls in to schedule an appointment, just choose a time and service from a drop down box listing all the availabilities left in the schedule. If the person calling is a repeat client, choose his or her name from a list of existing contacts and watch as information such as a full name and telephone number gets automatically filled in. At the beginning of each day, YourAM will show an easy-to-read list of which appointments are scheduled for that day, along with any background information that might be helpful in keeping each appointment on track.

Once you’ve gotten the hang of using YourAM for basic scheduling, you can start using its upgraded features like online appointment booking and SMS meeting reminders. Instead of hiring a staffer to confirm all appointments the day beforehand, let YourAM’s automated email and text messaging system handle it for you. Clients can even schedule follow up appointments via SMS message or through the online system. Thanks to its wide array of consumer-friendly features, YourAM has become a scheduling system that is as beneficial to customers and clients as it is to the companies themselves.

What we didn’t like:

  • Manually searching for existing clients’ names during the scheduling process might take more time than just typing in the name by hand
