HapTime – Time Tracking Without the Timers

Timers are typically viewed as an essential component in most time tracking applications, however HapTime has taken a different approach. The web-based platform provides a way for people to track how much time they’re spending on various projects automatically, without having to set any pesky timers or record their data in complicated spreadsheets.

The biggest challenge that people report when using most time tracking applications is that they forget to start their timers at the beginning of each project. HapTime thinks you shouldn’t have to remember to start a timer, which is why it sends daily reminders instead. When you receive a daily reminder via email, click on the link and manually enter how many hours you spent working on each project that day. You can also click on the emotion icons to record how satisfied you were with each project or task. Based on the data you enter, HapTime can tell you how much time you’ve spent working on each project this week or month and which projects brought you the most happiness.

The HapTime web-app is fully responsive, which means you can record your work on any device—including desktops, tablets, and smartphones—without needing to download and install a mobile app. HapTime is a straightforward time management solution that helps people better understand which projects they actually enjoy.
