Send Anywhere – Anonymously Transfer Files Between Devices

ss-sendanywhere
Just as the name implies, Send Anywhere is an application that people can use to send an unlimited number of files to anyone, anywhere, on any device. Whether files are being sent cross-network or cross-platform, Send Anywhere automatically adjusts to find the best performance-transferring path between any two devices.

Send Anywhere works by pairing two devices with temporarily generated key confirmations, and then transferring files instantly through an “optimal network path” between those two devices. Send Anywhere is a peer-to-peer service, which means you don’t have to worry about your sensitive information being stored on the company’s servers. Before you can send a file through Send Anywhere, you’ll need a six-digit one-time key. Select which files you’re looking to send, and get your key code. If you’ve got access to the device you’re sending the files to, then you can enter the key yourself. If not, give the key to the recipient—typically through a push request alert—to enter in his or her device. As soon as the key has been entered, the files will be transferred.

Send Anywhere uses SSL encryption, and it offers a way for people to quickly send files over 3G, 4G, or WiFi. Although Send Anywhere is a mobile application, the company also offers a web-service that people can use to send files from PC to mobile. While there are no limitations on file sizes with Send Anywhere, the application does limit the storage time for uploaded files to between 24 and 48 hours.
