It’s no secret that people are looking for jobs these days. It’s also no secret that more and more websites are aiming to take advantage of this huge market. No more are Monster.com, Hot Jobs and CareerBuilder the only place to seek out jobs: now there’s Indeed, which will check all those (and many more) for you.
Indeed is a web application that will scan a list of job websites for the specific inquiry you searched. You can adjust the distance from the zip code you search from the exact location to 100 miles, as well as check out a graph of salaries over a two year range for the position you search for in the area you searched for. If that’s not enough you can always check out how often your particular jobs are found on Indeed, and check out forum posts related to your search.
After searching for a job, on the left are all kinds of filters for your search. If you’re looking for a certain salary range, Indeed will set it. If you want to see the most mentioned company, Indeed will show you. Basically, anything you need for your job search, Indeed will do the work for you. All you really need to know is what kind of job you want.
