Plancast – Share Your Plans with Friends

Plancast is an online application that makes it easier than ever to share your upcoming plans with friends. While other web-based apps like Foursquare and Loopt let users share their current location with followers, Plancast aims to set itself apart by giving users a way to post information about what they plan to do in the future, as well as in the present. From everyday plans like getting a coffee or catching the train home from work, to more detailed events such as a weekend trip or an upcoming date, Plancast makes it easy to post information about all the things coming up in your life.

Get started with Plancast by creating an account or logging in with your Facebook or Twitter information. Enter your location and time zone, and you’re ready to go. Posting your upcoming plans is as easy as answering three simple questions: What are you doing, when are you going, and where will you be? Determine whether the update should be sent to your Facebook or Twitter account, or both, and click share.

Once your event has been posted, online friends can let you know if they’ll be tagging along on your event by clicking “count me in.” In addition, followers can comment on eachother’s upcoming plans and view a large map showing where the specific event will take place. Finally, Plancast’s RSS feed and iCal export option make it easy to keep track of what you’ve got coming up, even without logging in to the Plancast site. For social media mavens looking for an even better way to meet up with friends, Plancast is an application to check out.

  • Let your friends know what you’re up to
  • Plan a big event or party
  • Find out what your friends are doing next weekend, and let them know if you can join in

Insider Tips:

  • Get driving directions to any event by clicking on the map
  • Add your own Plancast bio, or import the information you already have saved from your Twitter account

  • Block certain users from following you

What we liked:

  • Easy to get set up and start using Plancast right away
  • Plancast automatically generates a map to go with each plan
  • Ability to search Facebook and Twitter to connect with friends who are already using the Plancast service

  1. Hi there, simply changed into attentive to your blog-
thru Google, and found that it is really informative. I’m gonna take care for brussels. Let me be grateful when you continue this in the future. Many people might be benefited through your writing. Cheers!

  2. You can certainly see your enthusiasm within the article you write.
The sector hopes for more passionate writers like you who aren’t afraid to mention how they believe. Always go after your heart.

  3. The Shift-click menu under boolprop will be confusing
if you are a newcomer, but look for the Spawn option and
select it. Players earn coins which can then be spent buying clothes, pets and furniture
for their igloo. I didn’t believe it in the beginning, but when the Zero cost PSN codes worked, I was jumping
    throughout.

  4. Thanks for this inspiring content. I really enjoyed it lots.
What you have done is pretty inspirational.
