Sitedrop is a file sharing application for design conscious professionals. Creative-types who connect Sitedrop to their Dropbox accounts can publicly share any type of file with clients online. More importantly, the files they share can easily be uploaded, downloaded, commented on, and “favorited” without the client having to decipher any complicated web platforms. In fact, collaboration is encouraged on Sitedrop. Files are stored locally, and backed up in the cloud, and users maintain complete control over who sees which of the projects they’ve uploaded. The folders that users upload are turned into galleries and presentations, and individual presentations can include multiple types of media formats.

Sitedrop can generate a preview from virtually any type of file, and headers, text, and even links appear perfectly for clients who view their in-progress projects through Sitedrop. The platform’s commenting system is straightforward and easy for people to use, encouraging clients to add their two-cents using a large comment box that appears underneath each file.
